FBR withdraws Royal Weaving Factory’s zero rating facility on electricity

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has withdrawn the facility of zero rating on supply of gas to Royal Weaving Factory by making amendment in Sales Tax General Order 09/2007 dated 13.9.2007.

According to a notification No C.No.4(10)ST-L&P/2015 – 154400, issued by Secretary-IR-ST&FE, Tariq Hussain Shaikh that read as: “In exercise of powers conferred by clause (d) of section 4 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, read with SRO 1125(I)/2011 dated 31.12.2011, the Federal Board of  Revenue is pleased to make the following further amendments in its Sales Tax General Order No 166 of 2015.”
