WASHINGTON: Semiconductor wafer testing service provider Ardentec is expected to post a 6-7% sequential decrease in revenues for the fourth quarter of 2015, as a result of ongoing inventory correction within the industry supply chain, Taiwan’s Central News Agency (CNA) quoted market watchers as saying in a recent report.
In response, Ardentec said it has not provided a revenue guidance for the fourth quarter. Ardentec reported consolidated revenues of NT$1.59 billion (US$48.6 million) for the third quarter of 2015, up 6.4% on quarter and hitting the highest quarterly level in the company’s history. Net profits surged 45.7% seqentially to NT$306 million in the third quarter, with EPS coming to NT$0.66.
For the first three quarters of 2015, Ardentec’s revenues totaled NT$4.59 billion, rising 7.2% from a year earlier, but net profits slid 3% on year to NT$822 million during the period. EPS for the nine-month period came to NT$1.79 compared with NT$1.84 for the same period in 2014.
Ardentec also disclosed its cumulative 2015 revenues through October increased 5.1% from a year ago to NT$4.81 billion. Ardentec provides testing services for logic and mixed-signal ICs, as well as memory chips, analog and LCD driver ICs.
