NEW YORK: Choice boxed beef saw a slight decrease of 31 cents to hit $204.77, bringing the 27-day average price to $214.93. Select boxed beef fell from $194.04 on Thursday to $192.99 on Friday. The $1.05 dip brought the 27-day average price to $206.50.
Choice primal short plate had a $2.41 jump on Friday, while choice primal rib was close behind increasing $1.98. Choice primal loin saw the largest fall on Friday, decreasing $1.52.
