KARACHI: Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Quetta has seized 98,000 liters of smuggled Iranian diesel. During another action the same team of Customs Quetta impound a huge quantity of plastic crush.
Sources told Customs Today that director customs intelligence Iqbal Bhawana received credible information regarding smuggling after which he comprised a raiding team.
The Customs team intercepted an oil tanker and seized smuggled 98,000 Iranian diesel. The driver of the oil tanker who was identified as Shah Zaman was also taken into custody. The market value of seized Iranian diesel is Rs 1 million. The same team raided a residential compound in Quetta and seized 5000 kilograms of plastic crush.
