Mercedes Benz AMG GT S will launch  on November 24

PARIS: Mercedes Benz India will be launching their most-awaited sports car to the Indian audience, the 2015 Mercedes Benz AMG GT S, on November 24.

The Mercedes Benz AMG GT S is the second sports car developed by Mercedes AMG and is a replacement to the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG.

The India-bound Mercedes Benz AMG GT S is powered by a 4.0-litre, V8 Biturbo engine churning out maximum power output of 462hp@6000 rpm and maximum torque of 600 Nm, mated to a 7G-DCT automatic transmission.

The Mercedes Benz AMG GT S can go from 0-100km/hr in just 3.8 seconds with an electronic limit of 310 km/hr. The India-bound Mercedes Benz AMG GT S will come in RWD.

The new Mercedes Benz AMG GT S is 4546mm in length, 1939mm in width, 1288mm in height with a wheelbase of 2630mm.

The new Mercedes Benz AMG GT S will compete against the likes of the Audi R8, Maserati GranTurismo and the Porsche 911 in India.

We estimate the new Mercedes Benz AMG GT S will come with a price tag of Rs 2.3 crore – Rs 3.5 crore (ex showroom Delhi).
