US: Police seize nearly $50K in Tracy’s Landing drug bust

ANNAPOLIS: Four people have been charged in connection with a month-long drug investigation in Tracy’s Landing, Anne Arundel County police said.
Investigators learned that large quantities of marijuana were being brought into the Southern District area by a known suspect.
Police said they conducted a traffic stop on Nov. 16 on a car on Fairhaven Road in Tracey’s Landing. Authorities found about 588.69 grams of marijuana with a street value of $17,660, $2,370 in cash and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia in a search, police said.
Police said they also found another $45,296 in cash during the investigation for a total of $47,666 in cash.
Gregory Michael Goodwin, 23, of Sunderland, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of controlled dangerous substance marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, police said..
As part of the ongoing investigation, on Sunday police said a search warrant was executed at a home at 314 Canterfield Road in Annapolis. A small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia were seized during a search of the home, police said.
Police said Mary Elizabeth Lapp, 26, of Annapolis, Ryan Andrew Atienza, 25, of Millersville, and Stephen Clare Poulton, 23, of Severna Park, were charged on citations and released.
Lapp, Atienza and Poulton were charged on citations for controlled dangerous substance possession marijuana less than 10 grams and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
Since they were charged on citations and released no booking photos were available, police said.
