ISLAMABAD: Investigation committee formed by the FBR could not collect facts against Agility Logistic Private Limited after a lapse of one year.

It seems that a “hidden hand” does not want so, therefore, the committee failed to collect the facts in the case.

The inquiry committee was established on 19 October 2013 in a meeting of the Federal Board of Revenue, which had to present report within 45 days, but one year has past and the report is still in doldrums.

That is why member customs Nisar Ahmad is astonished on the poor performance of the committee and directs them to finish this task as soon as possible. On the other hand, Chief management of FBR Muhammad Iqbal has sent reminded to the members of the committee in which it was stated that several letters were written to the committee in 29-10-2013 after that in 17-02-2014 then 29-04-2014 and finally in 14-07-2914 but still are waiting for their respond.
