Faisalabad ASO seizes smuggled woollen clothes

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad has impounded smuggled ladies woolen clothes. The market value of the seized clothes are Rs 20,1780 while payable amount of taxes and duties stands at Rs 38311.

Sources told Customs Today that ASO team comprising Muhammad Javed Mehmood (superintendent), Muhammad Sardar (deputy superintendent ),  Masood Saeed Chohan, Abdul Jabbar (inspector), Afzal Hussain, Liaquat Ali, Israr Ahmad, Muhammad Ashraf, Haffiz Naseer Ahmad (sepoys ) intercepted a bus bearing registration No. FS-15-111 and seized ladies garments near Motorway Chowk Kamalpur, Sargodha Road Faisalabad.

The ASO team asked driver of the bus who was identified as Muhammad Kashif Jahangir son of Muhammad Jahagir and Muhammad Imran son of Iqrar Ahmad to produce legal documents regarding possession of clothes but they failed to produce the same after this ASO taem seized the clothes and registered a case against the accused persons.
