Ayyan Ali’s name placed on ECL

ISLAMABAD: Fashion model Ayyan Ali, who was recently released on bail, is now unable to move to any foreign country as the government has placed her name in the Exit Control List (ECL), it is learnt.

According to sources, the government has included her name in the ECL, restricting her not to move out of the country until further orders. The super model also be unsuccessful to submit bail money in the customs court, sources added. Sources further said that Ayyan Ali got her three passports from the customs court but as her name was in the ECL so she cannot go out of the country.

Ayyan is facing a currency smuggling case. She was arrested on May 14 from Benazir International Airport when she was trying to take $500,000 with her to Dubai but was arrested by the customs officials at the airport.
