The department has announced a few months ago to initiate the digital computerised process of land revenue record but failed to do so after spending huge amount on the project.

Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Lahore initiate the project to transfer land record on computer but  the plan failed due to lack of proper planning.

The Excise and Taxation Department has spent millions of rupees on the project, but it has gained no output.

Now the Excise and Taxation Department has decided to issue property tax notices manually due to lack of efficiency to computerise land record.

The department is still optimistic that they will convert all record on the digital system soon, but due recovery of tax they have issued prepared tax notices manually.
