Customs Court hears 26 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 26 important cases on Monday and issued necessary orders and directions related to the cases.

As per details, on Monday a total 26 cases of different types were scheduled including pre-arrest bail pleas of accused persons as well the court adjourned bail pleas of  Shaukat Ali, Muzammal Hussain and Tariq Ali until the next hearing of the cases. In a case of alleged smuggling court of Chaudry Ameer Muhamamd, a bail plea was rejected in tax evasion.

The court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on five different cases for the day. The cases of tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics of different cities including Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for Monday.
