ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) to resume hearing on a stay awarded to telecom companies in a case involving claims of over Rs 52 billion of Federal Excise Duty (FED) on Friday.
Pakistan’s leading four telecom-mobile companies had filed the case in IHC, challenging imposition of FED which exceeds Rs 52 billion.
A division bench of the IHC comprising Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi and Justice Aamer Farooq would hear the case.
Advocate Hafiz Munawar, counsel for the FBR, would represent the department.
