Faisalabad Customs Adjudication recovers Rs 110 million in November

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication recovered Rs 110.47 million while deciding almost 40 cases during November, 2015.

As per details, the adjudication issued 37 Order in Originals (ONOs) in favour of Faisalabad Model Custom Collectorate and Customs Intelligence and Investigation, while three cases have been decided in favour of the suspects.

The department heard cases of smuggled vehicles, foreign origin cloth, smuggled diesel and oil, and others miscellaneous item during the said period.

Customs Adjudication Collector Tahir Majeed decided ten cases involving Rs 90.89 million, out of which, three were decided in favour of respondent party.

However, Additional Collector Beelam ur Ramzan settled seven cases involving Rs 11.47 millions and deputy collector Asma Hameed decided 23 cases involving Rs 8.11 million during November, 2015.
