FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Faisalabad has confiscated a container No. WHLU- 558373-0 (1×40 ) comprising miscellaneous items worth Rs 1.69 million.
Sources told Customs Today that the Import branch received credible information through Customs Collectorate Faisalabad Collector Zulafqar Ali Chaudhry about the smuggled items.
Following the information, an ASO team raided the near dry port Faisalabad and seized a container form S Shahzad Enterprises, Boota Market Chak no. 159 RB Faisalabad.
The Customs team comprising Muhammad Anwar Pervaiz (Deputy Superintendent Examination in charge), Muhammad Jamil Ahmad (appraiser), Ajmal Iqbal Cheema (inspector ) and others.
