CPEC project to promote peace in region

LAHORE: Chief Executive of Chinese province Gan su Wang San Yun has said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will be proved a milestone for the promotion of peace and economic development in the region.

He said this while talking to Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar at Lahore airport. He said China would provide full assistance to the Punjab government in agriculture, livestock, mines, energy production, manufacturing and science and technology sectors.

The Chief Executive Gansu said that economic and trade relation between Gan su and Punjab would be further strengthened. He said that rapid development being made in all sectors in Punjab province under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif had greatly impressed him. He said that full benefit would be taken from the experiences of each others in education, research and various sectors.

Earlier, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar representing Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Chief Executive of Chinese province and his 5-member delegation at the airport. The members of the delegation included Wang Daixi, Rao Hihiua, Yuan Ruidong, Jia Peng, Hu Xiadang, and Hu Xadang.
