ISLAMABAD: The Customs Special Court has not heard the case for acquittal of TCS Courier Company’s Chief executive, logistic manager and other staff in Smart Zone smuggling case due to lawyers strike.
As per details, now the hearing of TCS case K-265 will be held on December 19. On the other hand, the Customs Appellate Tribunal has not announced its final verdict against Customs adjudication decision regarding Smart Zone and TCS couriers.
According to sources, Customs Intelligence authorities said that TCS and Smart Zone are using delaying tactics by using legal means only for making the case weaker.
