RTO-I freezes bank accounts of M/s Ittahad Construction due to tax evasion

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) has freeze the bank accounts of Messers Itthad Construction.

Sources told Customs Today, that above said company is involved in tax evasion of Rs 17 billion. Sources further said that tax evasion was found during audit process of the tax returns.

Sources said that FBR sends many notices to M/s. Ittahad Construction asking to clearing outstanding amount of taxes but company failed to make any payment in this regard.

After company’s failure commissioner Shahid Sadique ordered to freeze the accounts and recovered the tax amount payable against the company.
