Anjuman-e-Tajran urges govt to collect taxes from billionaire

LAHORE: President of All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran Khalid Pervaiz urged the government to adopt a comprehensive policy to collect taxes from billionaire.

Talking to Customs Today¸ he said that imposition of withholding tax, regularity duties and Indirect taxes and taking loans from IMF, and World Bank cannot improve the economy of the country.

He added that business community is sincere to improve national econony but the government economic managers are not serious, he said that government is imposing taxes on every day without consulting with the business community.

Government and his advisors should increase the tax net and collect taxes from those who earns in billions and submitting taxes declaring their low income. He said if the government will not collect tax from billionaire the national economy will not improve.
