KARACHI: The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has started issuing new number plates for vehicles. The process has been started after a period of 14 months.
Talking to Customs Today, Incharge Motor Registeration Wing Qayyum Soomro said that the process of issuing new number plates is made easier as compared to the past. Now customers will get their new number plate on the prescribed dates. He said that provincial minister for excise and taxation Gyan Chand Esrani directed excise department to make the process of issuing new number plates easier.
Recently provincial minister for interior Sohail Anwar Sial said that customers should paste yellow colour on simple plate and write vehicle number on it by using black ink.
