ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has restored performance allowance in respect of 92 Inland Revenue Service officers of (BS-16).
The performance allowance (equivalent to 100 per cent basic pay), which was discontinued inadvertently vide FBR’s Notification No 2127-IR-IV/2015, dated 09,09,2015, has been restored with effect from September 9, 2015.
The officials, whose performance allowance was discontinued on account of imposition of Minor or Major penalty, will however not be restored through this notification, until they have gone through fresh process of selection for grant of performance allowance, said a Board’s notification, issued Friday.
