Customs appellate Tribunal does not hear any case on Monday

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal has not heard a single case on Monday due to the unavailability of judicial members of both two benches. All nine cases fixed for hearing adjourned until the next dates.

Three cases of Muhammad Riaz versus customs Sambrial, Star Link versus Customs Lahore and Customs Lahore versus Alkaram Auto were fixed for hearing in special bench-II by the Omer Arshad Hakeem, member judicial and Khawaja Omer Mehdi, member technical.

In special bench-I headed by Ghulam Murtaza, member judicial/chairman, and Khawaja Umer Mehdi, member technical, six cases were fixed for hearing comprising Haji Muhammad Salim versus Customs Faisalabad, Customs Multan versus Sajjid Ahmed, Ehsan Ulla versus Customs Faisalabad, Muhammad Yaqoob versus Directorate Lahore, Directorate Lahore versus Muhammad Yaqoob and Muhammad versus Directorate Lahore.
