 LHC adjourns luxury tax case until 20th

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has adjourned hearing against luxury tax until 20 November.

The Punjab government has imposed a luxury tax on two or more than two kanal houses in various areas.Several citizens took stay order against the tax and the LHC is hearing the case. As many as 70 applications have been filed in the Lahore High Court against the luxury tax.

LHC Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza heard the case where lawyer of the Punjab government asked for more time to submit reply.

The court adjourned the case until 20 November and asked the government to submit reply in the next hearing.
