FIA arrests four proclaimed human traffickers in Punjab

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested four suspects from different cities in Punjab. The suspects were involved in human trafficking.

According to the FIA spokesperson, different teams of the agency raided different cities and arrested human traffickers, including a most wanted smuggler. The FIA has arrested Muhammad Shahzad, Waheed Murad, Shahbaz Barkat and Islamul Din.

All human trafficker were involved in sending people abroad on fake documents and visas. They have looted number of people after showing them bright future opportunities in Europe and Gulf states. They have sent many people to Italy on bogus documents.

The FIA also seized cheque books, computer, laptops, prize bonds and deposit slips from hidden places of their offices. Fake visas and bank statements have also recovered from the arrested smugglers.
