Federal Service Tribunal adjourns hearing of “non-implementation” case till January

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) has heard two cases submitting the matter of ‘non-implementation’ of FST’s earlier orders.

Two petitioners, Ali Khawaja and Ghulam Abbas, had again approached the tribunal and contested their case for implementing the decisions of their ‘up-gradation’ which were won by them against the Federal Board of Revenue.

A Division Bench of the FST comprising members M Arshad and Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the cases and adjourned the hearing until January.

Earlier, the tribunal had merged both of these identical petitions. The hearing was adjourned due as the FBR counsel sought time in order to implement tribunal’s directives and pledged to submit compliance report by next hearing.
