ISLAMABAD: Member of Federal Board of Revenue Muhammad Ashraf and Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Lattifullah Virk called on in the Senate standing committee and gave a briefing on tax refunds and Afghan transit trade.
In the meeting, Virk also informed the committee about the seized Afghan consignments and method of their clearance. On the other hand, the issue of refund is still pending.
