ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that about another 10,000 MW of electricity will be added to the national grid during tenure of current PML-N government.
Addressing a function in connection with Orange Line Metro Train project, he said work is underway on power projects of 24,000 MW.
The minister described the Orange Line Metro Train project as historic. He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the country is moving forward in the right direction. He said economic indicators have been changed from minus to plus as a result of steps taken by the government.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will usher in a new era of progress and prosperity for all the provinces of the country.
