ISLAMABAD: A special division bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal comprising Tribunal Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti and Member Technical Nasir Khan adjourned the hearing of Momentum Trading Co. and another case filed by M. Jahangir.
The bench had adjourned the hearing until January, 12, 2016. During the course of proceedings, the bench heard brief arguments and then adjourned the case as the main counsels were not present in the court.
Both parties had made Customs Collector, Islamabad respondent in the cases. The petitioner had challenged penalty imposed by the Customs officer and had sought relief from the tribunal.
Meanwhile, the bench also reserved a judgement on a case filed by M/S Sun Diplomatic Bonded Warehouse. The was filed against Collector Customs, Islamabad
