WAUSEON: Fulton County general fund appropriations for 2016 were set at about $16 million Tuesday by the county commissioners.
The appropriations were set after the tax budget was adopted in July. All county funds, including the general fund, will total about $52 million. Appropriation figures were based on expected revenue of about $13 million, an increase from $11.8 million in fiscal year 2015. The board expects to have a carryover balance of $6.5 million.
