Hyderabad Customs seizes non-customs paid Toyota Seirra

HYDERABAD: Customs Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) has seized a non-customs paid Toyota Seirra. The market value of the vehicle is Rs 5 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Karachi Asif Margoob Siddiqui received information regarding the non-duty paid vehicle.

He formed an FIU team under the supervision of Deputy Director Muhammad Tayyab. Deputy Superintendent Sikander Hayat Khanzada,  Inspector Syed Noor Muhammad Shah,  Muhammad Imran, Ghiasuddin Shah , Alimuddin, Hanif Soomro and Rao Abdul Sattar, sepoys took part in the operation.

The FIU intercepted a Toyota Seirra bearing registration No BA 1746 near Hyderabad and asked the owner of the vehicle to produce legal documents regarding the possession of vehicle, but he failed to provide any legal document.

The FIU team seized the vehicle and registered a case against its owner.
