NEW YORK: Now you can use your iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for a long time as PowerSkin has introduced a new technology that extends the battery time of Apple’s latest handsets.

The iPhone accessory maker unveiled a ‘case’ for the iPhone with an integrated battery for charging on the go. The PoP’n 2 isn’t strictly a battery case though. The battery section, which offers 4,000mAh capacity and 2.1A output for faster charging, doesn’t protect your phone in the way a normal case does.

Instead, it attaches to your iPhone 6 using a number of suction cups, which can fix to the bare iPhone 6 rear section, or to most third-party cases too. In fact, it also fits the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5, 5C and 5S too.

A U-bend at the bottom connects the battery section to the iPhone 6 and is easy to disconnect when you’re done charging. It’s obviously a little bulky compared to your average battery case, but the plus side here is that it’s easier to remove your iPhone, plus you can use most existing cases, only adding the bulk and weight of the battery when you need it and charging cable-free.
