Faisalabad Customs confiscates smuggled welding rods

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized foreign welding rods  (Golden Bridge) worth Rs 615,000 which also involves duty and taxes of Rs 390,525.

Sources told Customs Today that Additional Director Ms. Azmat Tahira received information about some smuggling attempts after which she constituted a team comprising Muhammad Tahir Iqbal (SIO), Mansoor Nasir and Faizi Raza (IO) Muhammad Iqbal and Mukhtar Ahmed sepoys.

Customs team seized the welding rods and registered a case against the suspect.
