Collectors at Preventive, Appraisement-East/West likely to be reshuffled

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will replace the collectors of Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement-East and West in the mid of January 2016.

Sources told Customs Today that Appraisement-East Collector Majid Yousfani has been selected for the training programme; therefore, a new official would be appointed on this place.

They added that Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Director Gul Rehman is the most suitable candidate and his name is on the top of the list to appoint him as collector of Appraisement-West.

Moreover, Customs Preventive Collector Tariq Huda may also be transferred and assigned a new responsibility by the FBR, sources disclosed.

Besides all this, major reshuffle would also take place in the Pakistan Customs in a bid to further improve the performance of the department.
