Rawalpindi Excise seals 193 properties due to tax evasion

ISLAMABAD: Excise and Taxation Department Rawalpindi has sealed 193 properties of property tax defaulters during a crackdown.

Excise and Taxation Officer Shahid Iqbal told Customs Today that these propeties owners evaded property tax amounting to Rs 3.7 million in the term of property tax.

He added that operation was conducted in Chaman Zar Colony, Dhok Hasu and College Road, Gulshan Colony, Westridge and sealed the propeties of defaulters.  He told that Rs 16,32,000 also recovered from the defaulters. He said that operation against property tax defaulters will remain continue in future also.
