Due to lack of space, Customs Multan was unable to protect the goods seized by Anti-Smuggling Organization Multan during their field operations in the region. To create more space, the Customs Multan is trying to sell goods through public auction which is also a vital source of revenue.

State ware House of Multan Customs will be notified before its creation in order to protect and save goods from weather harshness because few goods were not sold in the auction due to change condition of goods.

Even the place for trucks were also not available to park in the Multan Customs House and to make things more systematic Customs Multan wanted to develop new State ware House to save things from unnatural depreciation of goods and vehicles which hurt them in the auction. Due to hot summer and rainy weather damages seized goods and value of the seized goods offered fewer bids than average price of vehicles and goods.

Multan Customs had seized seven trucks three months ago in the crackdown against smuggled goods and they have not sufficient place to keep those goods in the state ware house of Multan Customs House and they parked in the Multan Dry Port in the custody of MDPT.

Few days ago about 1500 seized tyres of various brands old and used were stolen from Multan Dry Port which was lying in the custody of Multan Dry port Trust and on the request of importer MCC Multan lodged FIR against accused .Accused were employees of Multan Dry Port Trust and joint investigation team was formed for investigation but later case was forwarded to Federal Investigation Agency to take further due to non-cooperative behavior of MDPT  .

The Customs Collectorate decided to form notified State Ware House of MCC Multan which will be formed very for the protection of detained goods and vehicles during their custody.

It will be beneficial for the Multan Customs to store their goods in a better way that they will be enable to sale their goods  in a attractive prices after the completion of adjudication to earn more revenue.
