MULTAN: Principal Appraiser Mehmood Ahmad Khan has cleared Shujabad Group’s imported consignment carrying poultry equipment worth Rs 150 million.
According to details, the group is going to establish new poultry sheds in Jalalpur near Shujabad. The poultry machinery was imported from Turkey. The machinery, cleared through Al Azhar Clearing Agent, includes rearing and layering equipment for the poultry sheds.
Principal Appraiser Mehmood Ahmad Khan has cleared the consignment after the verification of required documents by the Multan Dry Port.
The total worth of imported machinery was almost Rs 150 million and the duty tax collected was Rs 25 million.
