Punjab Excise advises people to stay away from alcohol in new year celebrations

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department has urged people to stay away from alcohol during the new year celebrations.

According to Excise officials, raw and fake alcohol could be fatal for the users as it contains venomous chemicals. The department has already initiated an advocacy campaign to educate people in this regard.

The Excise and Taxation Department has formed three special teams to check the sale of fake drugs in Lahore.

Excise ETO Lateef Anjum has formed these teams under the supervision of Zaman Sindhu, Waqas Aslam and Nasrullah and has directed them to take strict action against drug dealers and alcohol sellers.
