PLGME seeks relaxations for exports

KARACHI: The Pakistan Leather Garments, Manufacturers and Exporters Association has urged the government to refund 75 percent of the expenses spent for getting quality certificates for export-oriented leather garments and other products.

PLGME General Secretary Asif Raheem said that exporters have to get certificates for quality assurance of their product that imposed effect on the cost of products. Due to the high cost, it was impossible to compete in the international markets.
