FBR extends date for filing of tax returns until Jan 31

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date for filling of tax returns for another one moth until January 31, 2016.

Earlier, the date for filing of income returns was September 30, 2015. The date has already been extended for two months from November to December 2015.

The FBR has extended the date for filing of tax statement for both individuals and associations.  The board extended the date until January 31, 2016 and a notification in this regard has also been issued.

Traders and tax bars were also demanding extension in the date and it seems that the FBR has extended the date keeping in view the demands of the stakeholders.
