KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign reserves crossed $21 billion mark and reached $21,073.9 million on December 25.
Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at $16,171.6 million while net foreign reserves held by banks remained $4,902.3 million. During the week ending Dec 25, SBP’s liquid FX reserves increased by $559 million to $16,172 million, compared to $15,613 million in the previous week. During the week, SBP received $500 million from IMF under EFF.
