ISLAMABAD: Babar Gulzar and Hamood-ur-Rehman, Appraisers (BS-16), Model Customs Collectorate (Port Muhammad Bin Qasim), Karachi, have been exonerated from the charges levelled against them.
As per details, disciplinary proceedings were started against the accused officers under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973. Muhammad Tahir, Additional Collector (BS-19), Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East), Karachi was appointed as inquiry officer to probe into the charges levelled against the officers.
According to inquiry report, the charges levelled against the accused officers have not been established. The Authorized Officer/Chief (Management-Customs) acquitted/exonerated the officers from the charges levelled against them.
