RTOs to issue 30,000 notices to tax defaulters

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-II and III (RTO-II, III) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) are all set to issue 30,000 notices to tax defaulters.

Additional Commissioner RTO-III Mustafa Junejo told Customs Today that the department has already received directions from the FBR to issue tax notices to defaulters. He said that lists of tax defaulters are being prepared and will soon be submitted to the FBR. He said  that these notices will be issued to defaulters during the last week of the current month. the Regional Tax Office-II will also dispatch 18,000 notices.
