FAISALABAD: The Punjab government has increased the tax collection target of the Faisalabad Excise and Taxation Department by 13 percent for the current fiscal year.
According to the details, property tax target has been increased up to Rs 30 billion, while professional tax also revised by assigning Rs 72.6 million.
Talking to Customs Today, the excise officials said that they will try hard to meet the target by the end of fiscal year whether it is difficult.
They also said that strategies were being made to make the target achievable; adding that tax defaulters will have to face strict action by the excise.
