Russia’s oil export increases 10.6% in 2015

MOSCOW: Russia’s oil export to far abroad countries grew 10.6% in 2015, year-on-year, to 220.267 million tons (4.423 million barrels a day), according to the operative report of Central Dispatching Department of Fuel Energy Complex (CDU TEK).

Russia exported 17.997 million tons of oil in December 2015 (4.256 million barrels a day) – 26.0% more than in December 2014.

Transneft pipelines carried 210.813 million tons of oil to far abroad countries last year (including 192.072 million tons of Russian resources) and another 28.195 million tons were supplied outside Transneft.

A total of 17.269 million tons of oil were exported to far abroad countries by Transneft networks in December (including 15.694 million tons of Russian resources), and 2.303 million tons were exported outside Transneft.

Some 22.072 tons of Russian resources were dispatched by Transneft networks via the port of Novorossiysk in 2015; the shipments stood at 45.071 million tons in 2015 for Primorsk, 30.435 million tons for Kozmino and 17.587 million tons for Ust-Luga.

Rosneft exported 97.477 million tons to far abroad countries using Transneft networks last year, Lukoil exported 22.627 million tons, Surgutneftegas – 29.887 million tons, Gazprom Neft – 7.851 million tons, and Tatneft – 10.441 million tons.

In 2015, transit stood at 15.125 million tons for Kazakhstan, 1.270 million tons for Azerbaijan, 730,900 tons for Turkmenistan and 1.615 million tons for Belarus. Oil exports of Russian oil companies to near abroad countries grew 0.6% year-on-year in 2015 to 22.629 million tons. Resources were supplied to Belarus only.
