Anti-Narcotics Court sends two drug traffickers on physical remand

LAHORE: The Special Court of Anti-Narcotics has issued a three-day physical remand of two suspects of drug smuggling.

As per details, the ANF officials arrested both the accused namely Muhammad Hanif and Javed from Allam Iqbal International Airport when they were travelling to Colombo through a private airline.

The officials following dubious behaviour intercepted them and recovered 55 heroin-filled capsules from the possession of Muhammad Hanif and 60 capsules from the other accused, Javed.

The accused were presented before the court, where the special judge sent them on physical remand for further interrogation. Their remand will end on Wednesday and they will be presented before the court again.
