FBR employees ask PM to restore performance allowance

MULTAN: The federal government is ready to announce a relief package for traders and an amnesty scheme for businessmen but at the same time the employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) have been deprived of their legitimate performance allowance, Tahir Khakwani, the chief organizer of the Fedearl Board of Revenue Action Committee, has said.

Talking to Customs Today, he said that the  prime minister and finance minister should announce a gift of the new year 2016 for the FBR employees by resolving  this issue. He said that the government should also issue orders to defreeze the performance allowance which had been stopped since July 2015.
