LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority has recovered Rs 2.8 million sales taxes from nine marriage halls and hotels during an operation in Rahimyar Khan.
Additional Commissioner Zeshan Nazir said that everyone has to pay taxes according to the law. The team of Punjab Revenue Authority raided VIP Marriage Hall, Bar B Q Tonight, Punjab Peshawar Hotel, Garden Marriage Hall, Country Club of Marriage party lawn, Shahid Marriage Hall, White Palace,Qasim Marriage lawn and Wana Marriage Hall and recovered Rs 2.8 million in the operation, he added.
