Faisalabad Adjudication issues OnO in favour of Customs intelligence

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Adjudication Saima Aftab issued Order-in-original (OnO) in favour of customs intelligence and investigation.

According to details customs intelligence official intercepted a Mazada mini truck bearing registration No. SBA-052 (Sibi) plying in the vicinity of Jhang Road Faisalabad. The driver of truck introduced himself as Muhammad Akmal s/o Muhammad Afzal and presented bous documents regarding possession of truck. Customs authorties seized the truck.

While Farzand Ali Intelligence Officer (IO) appeared from the prosecution side and asserted that the confiscated vehicle falls under ambit of section 2(s) of customs act 1969 and the documents produced were declared bogus and fake vide C.No.DD/472/BOGUS/977 by Commander Pakistan Navy PN Disposal depot Karachi and the forensic science laboratory Islamabad vide Report No. 1815/2015 also declared that the present chassis number of seized vehicle is manuualy punched.

That the respondents have nothing to defend against the allegations framed. The case is decided on the basic facts and material available.
