FIA arrests accused involved in illegal currency business

LAHORE: Federal Investigation Authority (FIA)  Additional Director Javed Hussain Shah along with Inspector Nasir Awan, Inspector Abdul Qayyum, Abdul Rehman ASI, Ashiq ASI, Ishfaq, Shafqat Jabbar conducted a raid on Fazl e Rabbi Prize Bond Dealer which is located at Rail Bazar Sargodha and arrested a person who is identified as Rana Abid

Sources told Customs Today that the accused was found involved in illegal business of currency. FIA team recovered PKR 5717,000, Thai Baht 11340, Saudi Riyal 107883, UAE Dirham 21950, Austrailian Dollar 110, Canadian Dollar 3775, Korean Won 30000, Iraqi Dinar 125000, US Dollar 887, Euro 3905, British Pounds 1780, Kuwait Dinar 200, Qatar Riyal 500, Bahrain Dinar 25, Omani Riyal 386,Japanese Yen 20000, Norwegian Krona 13300 and Swiss Franc 600. Visiting cards, prize bonds were also recovered from the premises. The FIA team registered a case against accused person.
