ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear a case filed by M/S Amson Vaccines and Pharma (Private) Limited seeking end to the blockade of National Tax Number (NTN).

The company had filed the petition, challenging the Federal Board of Revenue’s action in which it had blocked NTN of the company and issued a demand notice, dated December 12, 2015 to the company.

The FBR had blocked company’s NTN and issued the demand notice after the company failed to submit ‘consumption chart within 60 days’ of the imported rubber, gasket and bulk needles.

Justice Aamer Farooq of the IHC will hear the case. The petitioner had prayed the court to direct FBR for ending blockade of its NTN and setting aside the demand notice issued to the company.
