Customs Court hears 16 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 16 cases on Monday and issued necessary orders, besides sending a suspect, Zainul Din in a smuggling case on judicial remand.

As per details, 16 cases of different types, including pre-arrest bail pleas filed by accused persons named Muhammad Akhtar Rasool, Shahrooz, Irfan Ali and others. The court also heard the case of smuggling, tax evasion on the day. The statements of witnesses were also recorded in five different cases.
